To work directly for the Finance Director. To collect and count all money received through the stewards office and that the money tallies with the rink form which should be signed by the session steward. To ensure that the relevant paperwork is completed and monies placed into the Bank bag along with any other monies received from the bar and coffee/snack machines and taken to the bank.
To provide an essential service within the club of ensuring that the club runs smoothly during your shift session. To open/close the club when required, ensuring the alarm is disarmed/set, blinds open/shut, the computers are switched off/on and the lights are off/on if you are on the first or last session shift of the day. To ensure all payments are received and accounted for using the card machine or recording cash payments. To call out any tradesperson in an emergency and call out the appropriate Director responsible. To call for any emergency service if it is required and in the event of a fire, ensure all personnel are clear of the club and all meet in the car park nearest the football club.
Bowls carpet cleaners
To work for the person responsible for organising the team which cleans the carpet every Wednesday afternoon. to be able to use the cleaner and ensure that it is emptied after every cleaning session.
Minute taker to the Board of Directors
We are looking for someone who can take minutes at the Board of Directors Meetings. This person must be able to ensure that everything heard and written down at the meeting is kept strictly confidential. To produce the minutes to the Chairperson within a week of the meeting so that distribution to other Board members can be made.

We are looking for someone who can take minutes at the Bowls Committee Meetings. This person must be able to ensure that everything heard and written down at the meeting is kept strictly confidential. To produce the minutes to the Chairperson within a week of the meeting so that distribution to other Bowls Committee members can be made.
To assist the Director responsible for all maintenance matters within the club. To be able to liase with plumbers, electricians and the principle companies that look after the air-conditioning, security and alarm systems and the barriers.
To liase with the Director responsible for Housekeeping and Hospitality within the club. To arrange for sufficient bar staff for the various functions within the club. To ensure that the bar staff are sufficiently trained and understand the use of the various equipments within the bar area. To ensure a stock check of drinks and to request purchases where required.
To work within the bar during the agreed hours as laid down by the Bar Manager. To inform the Bar Manager in sufficient time when you are unable to perform the duties so a replacement can be made. To understand the workings of the various equipments within the bar area. To maintain the levels of stock on shelves and in fridges and to inform the Bar Manager whenever stocks are running low.
To assist the Director responsible for Housekeeping and Hospitality within the club to ensure that there is a steward available for each of the bowling sessions. To plan the roster at least one month in advance. To ensure that each steward fully understands their role and provide training wherever required.
To provide an essential service for the junior members of the club by ensuring their is sufficient coaches for the training session. To ensure that each of the coaches are aware of their responsibility in safeguarding the juniors and for them to ensure that any rinks are paid prior to the start of the session. To liase with other clubs where juniors may be able to gain valuable experience bowling against other club juniors. To ensure that club shirts are made available for any new juniors.
To work directly for the Finance Director. To be able to enter financial entries into the SAGE programme. Training on how to use SAGE will be given.
To work directly for the Hospitality Director and ensure that all licences that are required by law are maintained and to ensure compliance. To bring to the attention of the Hospitality Director any licence that is due for renewal in plenty of time.
Social Events Co-ordinator
To work directly for the Hospitality Director. To put together social events for members of the club to enjoy throughout the year. To work in conjunction with the Bar Staff and Catering Staff wherever they are needed.
Public Affairs Officer
To provide information to the local newspapers and radio on matters relating to the club thereby raising the profile of the club to the public domain.
